If you want to install a bathroom, cloakroom, or utility room in a location that doesn't have access to the main plumbing system, the Aquari Max Domestic Sanitary Macerator Waste Pump is the ideal solution. This macerator pump allows you to create bathrooms or utility rooms anywhere in your house without the need for major building and plumbing works.

We use a lot of these. They are generally reliable, the most common fault is earth tripping of the electrical supply. The smaller jubilee clips are more highly stressed and can fail from stress corrosion, we therefore replace these with heavier clips. The ability to continue to be able to obtain a consistent model of pump avoids the need to amend the plumbing when replacing a pump, which saves labour costs.

We use many of these pumps and it is a useful pump. We hope that it continues in production as it is difficult to change to a different pump type with different plumbing connections. We have experienced failure of the smaller jubilee clips through corrosion in damp locations and we now always use a heavier grade of ss jubilee clip. In a couple of instances we have experienced a tendency for the units to cause the circuit breaker to trip after a few months in use.
