General description

Everbuild EB25 Hybrid Sealant Adhesive is a versatile, high-performance product that combines sealing and bonding capabilities. It features a unique polymer blend and cutting-edge technology, offering superior flexibility and strong adhesion on a wide range of materials. Suitable for indoor and outdoor use, it can be applied in various applications including sealing joints, bonding mirrors, and bonding heavy or lightweight items. It is waterproof, weatherproof, and can even be used underwater. Once cured, it resists mould, temperature extremes, chemicals, and UV radiation. Certified for sanitary and food preparation areas, it is environmentally friendly with low emissions.

Compatibility and accessories

Adheres to most surfaces including metals, plastics, glass, concrete, plaster, plasterboard, polyester, perspex, wood, enamel, and painted surfaces

Suitable for use on damp surfaces, including underwater applications (though adhesion is reduced underwater)

Can be overpainted with some paints (test first)

Installation

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dust-free, and dry; surfaces may be damp but should have no standing water

Apply using a standard sealant gun; cut the tip of the cartridge and load into the gun

For bonding heavy items, apply adhesive around the edges and at intervals on the back; support until fully cured

For sealing joints, mask surrounding areas, apply sealant evenly, and tool within 5 minutes for a smooth finish

For bonding mirrors, apply beads of sealant to the back, position the mirror, and support until cured (24-48 hours)

Usage

Use for sealing and bonding in construction, renovation, and DIY projects

Apply to clean, sound surfaces; prime dusty surfaces if necessary

Apply in a continuous bead for lightweight items; apply around edges and in a grid pattern for heavy items

Support heavy items until adhesive cures

Use masking tape to ensure neat joints and remove immediately after tooling

Other information

Store in cool, dry conditions between +5°C and +25°C

Not suitable for use as part of a structural glazing system or in aquarium manufacture

Avoid use on surfaces that bleed oils or plasticizers

Do not use in conjunction with undiluted bleach or in chlorinated water

Yellowing may occur in dark conditions over time
