Description

General description

This is a high-quality silicone sealant designed for sanitary and high-humidity areas. It cures quickly to form a flexible, waterproof, and durable seal. The sealant contains a fungicide to prevent mold growth and remains flexible over time, resisting discoloration even in damp conditions. It is suitable for sealing around baths, showers, basins, worktops, window frames, and for general weatherproofing. Additionally, it can be used as an adhesive for PVCu trims and panels.

Curing Time: 3mm per 24 hours

Skin Formation Time: About 10 minutes at 20°C

Standards: Meets ISO11600 F and G 20LM, EN15651 for façade, glazing, cold climate, and sanitary applications

Compatibility and accessories

Suitable for sealing around glass, metal, aluminium, PVCu, and non-porous surfaces

Priming may be required on porous surfaces; test a small area first

Use compatible tools such as a sealant gun and spatula for application and smoothing

Installation

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust, loose coatings, or old sealant

Cut the nozzle at an angle of 45° and apply with a sealant gun, maintaining even pressure and a consistent angle

Apply the sealant in a continuous bead, then smooth within 10 minutes using a wetted spatula or piece of wood

For a neat finish, apply masking tape on both sides of the joint and remove within 5 minutes

Usage

Use for sealing around baths, showers, basins, worktops, and window frames

Can be used as an adhesive for PVCu trims and panels

Ensure proper joint depth and adhesion by using backer rods or expanding foam if necessary

Other information

Not suitable for use with bitumen, asphalt, or highly porous surfaces like new concrete or stonework without priming

Avoid use on substrates that may bleed oils, solvents, or plasticizers

Do not use near or on the edge sealant of double-glazed units; use SILICONE 450 instead

Not recommended for perimeter pointing of uPVC; use SILICONE HM60 or SILICONE 450

Not suitable for soft metals like lead or brass; use LEADMATE SEALANT

Non-overpaintable; for overpainting, consider Weather Mate

Tested to ISO 8339 and ISO 10590/10563

Bought this after trying to find a match for a beige sealant put in c 12 years ago. After trying screw fix - which was miles away from beige (despite the pack colour being spot on the sealant was a horrible milky coffee colour); I went around all the plumbing merchants in town to be told ‘we only do white, clear or grey’. Took a risk with this and it looks good - it is beige/sand in colour and goes down well; pleased overall (& I’ll check the reviews first before ordering from Screwfix again - every one is complaining their beige is coffee coloured).

Hello, Super product, applicable on degraded or rusty paint. By rubbing a little to remove and allow the paint to stick. Apply outdoors for 5 years it does not move. Nice hammered effect that hides the imperfections of the support. Well the big less is the price. To clean the equipment the white does not work very well and it is better to take the thinner of the same brand which is super expensive but effective in cleaning. Finally satisfied with the product
