Description

General description

This high-quality silicone sealant is designed for sanitary and high-humidity applications. It cures quickly to form a permanently flexible, waterproof, and mold-resistant seal. Suitable for sealing around baths, showers, basins, and sanitaryware, it also works as an adhesive for PVCu trims and panels. Its fungicidal formula prevents mold growth and maintains a clean appearance over time.

All surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of dust, loose coatings, or old sealant

Glass, metal, and aluminum should be cleaned with a solvent cleaner for optimal adhesion

Porous surfaces may require priming; test a small area first

Cut the nozzle at a 45° angle, ensuring the opening is slightly larger than the gap to be sealed

Apply with a standard sealant gun, maintaining even pressure and a consistent angle

Smooth the sealant within 10 minutes using a wetted spatula or piece of wood, optionally using masking tape for a cleaner finish

Usage

Ideal for internal sealing in humid or condensation-prone areas

Sealing around baths, showers, basins, sanitaryware, worktops, laminates, and window frames

Can be used as an adhesive for PVCu trims and panels

Bought this after trying to find a match for a beige sealant put in c 12 years ago. After trying screw fix - which was miles away from beige (despite the pack colour being spot on the sealant was a horrible milky coffee colour); I went around all the plumbing merchants in town to be told ‘we only do white, clear or grey’. Took a risk with this and it looks good - it is beige/sand in colour and goes down well; pleased overall (& I’ll check the reviews first before ordering from Screwfix again - every one is complaining their beige is coffee coloured).

Hello, Super product, applicable on degraded or rusty paint. By rubbing a little to remove and allow the paint to stick. Apply outdoors for 5 years it does not move. Nice hammered effect that hides the imperfections of the support. Well the big less is the price. To clean the equipment the white does not work very well and it is better to take the thinner of the same brand which is super expensive but effective in cleaning. Finally satisfied with the product
