The Cast base makes the unit lightweight but durable and the quick tool free bevel adjustment allows up to 50° bevel. Its AirLock Dust Port allows you to connect your dust extractor for a cleaner, safer worksite and the built in dust blower gives you an improved cut line visibility/accuracy.

I'm shocked at the build quality of this tool. The guard is made of cheap plastic and has so much wobble it can be pushed into the blade easily. The rafter hook is made out of a paper clip and is definitely going to break off very soon. Also the cut is the roughest I've ever seen with a fresh blade. The bolt for fixing the fence is cheap plastic and is in a very awkward position, you'll need tiny fingers to tighten it. The fence itself is extremely thin and lightweight too. Also the top handle's rubber is already split down the join. I had the dcs391 and loved it, I assumed this was an upgrade but it's terrible. Shocking from DeWalt. Also the delivery box had no protection on top which could be why the handle is damaged.
