General description

This GT25 T25 T28 GT25R GT2871 GT2860 GT28 Turbo Turbocharger is a universal application turbocharger designed for turbo manifolds with a T25 flange. It can also be converted to a T28 flange with the necessary adapter. This turbocharger is ideal for 1.5L-2.0L engines and can boost horsepower up to 350 BHP.

Installation

Replace oil supply lines and fittings to prevent blockage.

Avoid using silicone or thread tape.

Ensure all openings to the turbo are clear and not plugged.

Shut off fuel or disable ignition and crank the engine for at least 15 seconds to raise oil pressure.

Allow the engine to fast idle (1,000 RPM) for 3-5 minutes to seat turbo seals.

Let the engine idle for 3-5 minutes before shutdown to ensure proper lubrication.

When changing oil, prime the oil filter.

Ensure the oil drain line is lower than the turbo.

Gasoline cars must install a water cooling device to prevent overheating.

Ensure exhaust outlets are well sealed by welding.

Professional installation is highly recommended.

Usage

This turbocharger is not vehicle specific; verify compatibility prior to purchase.

Analyze and eliminate the cause of any previous turbo failure before installation.

Other information

Turbine housing is made from ductile iron QT450-10, resistant to high temperatures up to 700 degrees Celsius.

Steel turbine wheel made from special K418 alloy for high oxidation resistance and stability at temperatures up to 900 degrees Celsius.

Compressor wheel/blades are cast aluminum, providing good gas tightness and corrosion resistance.
