What distance between 2 gate pillars?
The distance between 2 gate pillars must be adapted to the width of the gate to be installed and vice versa. The standard width of a gate is between 3 and 3.5 meters. Therefore, the distance between gate pillars must be adjusted accordingly.
This is a crucial criterion if you have not yet installed the pillars. To configure a swing gate, ideally plan for an additional 6 to 7 cm of space between pillars to compensate for the play of the gate. Conversely, deduct this measurement from the gate if the pillars are already in place.
